Don Cohen-Lighting/Technical Director With a long list of shows under his belt, Don has proven over the past 25 years to be an integral part of The Showpros team. He graduated from UCLA with a degree in Cinematography and Theatre and later taught in the Theatre Department for 6 years at CSUF. Don held the position of Lighting Director at Disneyland for 5 years, and then moved on to oversee the lighting/technical direction of various impressive shows and events, such as the New Years Eve celebration in Times Square, Super Bowl half time shows, Ronald Regan Inauguration in1980, Winter Olympics, and 4th of July shows at the Rose Bowl—just to name a few. Don’s breadth knowledge and experience, and his truly contagious sense of humor, has made it an absolute pleasure to work, and laugh, with him over the years.
